Medical Gas and Vacuum Systems Design and Installation

Health care is in a constant state of change, which forces healthcare facility operators to keep up with new technology to provide innovation approaches to the design of medical gas systems. In designing medical gas and vacuum systems, the goal is to provide a safe and sufficient flow at required pressures to the medical gas outlet or inlet terminals served. In this course, we will discuss the design of medical gas and vacuum systems and identify various installation requirements. We will also address the importance of inspecting and testing the systems, as well as establishing a plan for managing and maintaining medical gas and vacuum systems.
